ELISHA THAPA

Elisha Thapa, recently joined the Firm’s Health and Human Service Practice Area, with a focus on regulatory matters and compliance, including licensure, certification and reimbursement, fraud and abuse, survey and enforcement, HIPAA and data security, transactions and contracting, and nonprofit corporate governance. Elisha has experience with federal funding matters including Medicare and MassHealth, the Medicare Secondary Payer statute and the Federal Tort Claims Act. She also has experience with the investigational drug and device approval process.

Prior to joining Krokidas & Bluestein, Elisha’s experience included research and analyzing legal issues related to administrative and health law for the Office of the General Counsel with the Department of Health and Human Services. Boston, MA. She clerked for Commons Sense Counsel LLP, in Burlingame, CA; and interned at the Office of General Counsel of Boston Medical Center, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Elisha is a summa cum laude graduate of University of Massachusetts and a graduate of Boston University School of Law with a concentration in health law. She was a staff editor of Boston University’s American Journal of Law & Medicine.
