Krokidas & Bluestein Attorney Jennifer Gallop Accepted into YW Boston 2017 LeadBoston Program

Cohort-based program focuses on experiential learning, social responsibility

(Boston, MA) March 30, 2017 – Boston-based law firm Krokidas & Bluestein LLP announced today that Partner Jennifer Gallop will be participating in the YW Boston’s 2017 LeadBoston Program. LeadBoston is an 11 month mid-career leadership program, accepting a cohort of 40 diverse and seasoned professionals each year. The program connects local executives across sectors who are committed to socially responsible leadership and who seek to collaborate in business and social welfare ventures.

A Partner at Krokidas & Bluestein, Gallop heads the firm’s Health Care Practice Area, representing the full range of health and human service organizations including hospitals, community health centers, clinics, and ambulatory surgery centers; long-term care, assisted living and senior housing providers; hospice, home health and private home care providers; behavioral health and substance use disorder providers; adult day health, group adult foster care and day habilitation programs; clinically integrated networks, physician practices, and allied health professionals; special education schools and residential programs, and all manner of community-based organizations. Her work includes matters involving transactions (mergers, acquisitions, affiliations), compliance, governance, licensure and certification, legislative and regulatory matters, contracts, charitable assets and tax-exempt financing.

Gallop was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a 2017 “Lawyer of the Year.” She has recently received other accolades for her industry-leading work, including being named an “Up & Coming” Attorney in Health Care by Chambers USA in 2016, and has been named a “Best Lawyer in America” in Health Care Law by U.S. News & World Report yearly since 2009. Jennifer volunteers her time for local healthcare organizations and communal institutions, and co-chairs the Continuing Legal Education committee as a member of the BBA Health Care Section Steering Committee. She also serves as the Massachusetts representative to the LeadingAge legal committee.
