(BOSTON, MA) May 27, 2015 – Boston-based law firm Krokidas & Bluestein LLP recently announced the hiring of associates Braden Miller, Jason Curtin, and Judith Kim. The announcement of the new hires comes during the firm’s 35th anniversary year, and demonstrates the firm’s commitment to grooming the next generation of legal talent.

“We have reached a point where some of the firm’s associates have transitioned into more senior roles,” said Founding Partner Maria Krokidas. “As a firm, we have always been committed to mentoring and advancing the interests and expertise of our associates, and we are pleased to continue this tradition in our new and talented attorneys.”

Krokidas & Bluestein’s recent hires demonstrate the firm’s commitment to providing a depth and range of services in practice areas that are vital to Boston’s business and civic communities.

Braden Miller joins Krokidas & Bluestein with a background in health care, nonprofit, administrative, and corporate law. In addition to his previous work with the Boston Medical Center, Mr. Miller was one of the primary drafters of the Health Care for All amicus curiae brief that was cited for helping uphold the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act. Mr. Miller joins the firm’s health care team, representing hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, community-based human services providers, and behavioral health providers.

Jason Curtin has experience in nonprofit and for-profit litigation for companies at all stages of growth and in a variety of state and federal business disputes. As an associate at Robinson & Cole, Mr. Curtin also worked with victims of domestic violence. With his proficiency in tort and employment matters, Mr. Curtin will support the firm’s nonprofit, corporate, and litigation teams.

Judith Kim joins Krokidas & Bluestein as a recent graduate from Boston University School of Law, having worked as a clerk at the firm during law school. Judith works with nonprofit and public entities by helping them to navigate tax exemption and compliance matters.

“These new hires are indicative both of the success we have seen over the past 35 years, and of our investment in the young talent that will serve the Boston legal community for years to come,” said Partner Robert Griffin. “Braden, Jason and Judith have all come to us with an intense focus on corporate citizenship, and with strong leadership and collaborative skills that will serve our firm well.”
