Attorney Vincent Pisegna

(BOSTON, MA) October 1, 2014 – Boston-based law firm Krokidas & Bluestein announced today that Vincent Pisegna, firm partner and senior litigation attorney, has been appointed by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers. The appointment is for a four-year term, beginning July 1, 2014.

Vince’s appointment follows more than thirty-five years of experience representing clients in litigation matters in both state and federal courts. As Krokidas & Bluestein’s senior trial attorney, Vince successfully litigates on behalf of business and real estate clients in complex disputes across a range of industries including commercial property development and management, land use, probate, bankruptcy, employment, personal injury, and stockholder and partnership litigation.

Vince also contributes to the Greater Boston community outside of his practice. In addition to serving on the board of several nonprofits; including Greater Boston Legal Services, he founded and served on the Board of the Kids Fund, Inc., a Massachusetts nonprofit organization supporting pediatric patients at Boston Medical Center. Most recently, he was recognized by the Boston Bar Association’s President Award for his participation in the BBA’s Marathon Assistance Project giving pro bono counsel on insurance matters.

“I am honored to have been appointed to the Board,” said Vince. “I feel well-equipped and eager to take on this important role.”

The Supreme Judicial Court established the Board of Bar Overseers to investigate and adjudicate complaints against lawyers. As the governing body for attorney conduct across the Commonwealth, the Board of Bar Overseer’s mission is to encourage and promote ethical legal practices to ensure public confidence in the legal system.
